L3302 Quick Buyer’s Guide

The Kubota L3302 sits in an important spot in the Standard L-Series. It gives you noticeably more horsepower than the L2502 without requiring you to automatically move into a larger, more expensive tractor. Use these sections to decide whether it fits the work you actually need to do.

Why Buy the L3302? Decision Specs Compare L3302 Why Buy From Ravenscraft Price & Financing FAQ Land Pride Implements

Why Buy The Kubota L3302?

The L3302 is one of the sweet spots in Kubota’s Standard L-Series for landowners who want more horsepower than the L2502, smooth hydrostatic operation, and a capable tractor and loader without making the jump into a substantially larger or more expensive machine.

  • ✔ 33 horsepower puts the L3302 in an important middle ground. You get a meaningful increase in engine and PTO power over the L2502 while keeping the manageable size and familiar feel of the Standard L-Series.
  • ✔ 26.1 PTO horsepower makes the difference when implements start working hard. Rotary cutters, tillers and other PTO-driven equipment are where the additional horsepower of the L3302 becomes much more noticeable.
  • ✔ The 3-range hydrostatic transmission is excellent for real property work. Loader work, backing into piles, grading, mowing around obstacles and working around barns or buildings are easier when you can control speed and direction without constantly clutching and shifting.
  • ✔ The LA526 loader makes it a very useful acreage tractor. With approximately 1,144 lb lift capacity at the pivot pin, it is well suited for dirt, mulch, gravel, manure, landscaping materials and the everyday loader chores most property owners actually encounter.
  • ✔ Skid steer quick attach dramatically expands what the tractor can do. Drop the bucket and connect pallet forks, a grapple, bale spear or other compatible front attachment without turning the changeover into a project.
  • ✔ It is still a practical tractor to maneuver and store. The L3302 gives you more working power without automatically moving into the larger footprint and additional cost of the heavier tractor classes.
  • ✔ It is a strong match for 5-foot implements. A 5-foot rotary cutter, box blade or similar implement is a natural fit for the L3302 and gives most acreage owners a very versatile working combination.
  • ✔ Some buyers can realistically consider certain 6-foot PTO applications. The additional PTO horsepower gives the L3302 more flexibility than the L2502, although terrain, material density and the specific implement still matter.
  • ✔ You can buy the tractor and loader now and choose implements around your actual work. If you already own equipment—or simply do not need the standard package implements—the tractor-and-loader configuration lets you start with the machine and build around it instead of paying for implements you may not need.
The buying decision really comes down to this: If the L2502 does everything you need, it remains an excellent value. But if you know you will regularly use PTO equipment and want more power without making a major jump in tractor size, the L3302 is often the smarter place to spend the extra money.

Why Buy Your L3302 From Ravenscraft Implement

  • ✔ Guidance from real experience — 3rd generation owner Dan Ravenscraft started assembling implements at a very young age and worked his way up from the ground, bringing decades of hands-on equipment experience to every recommendation.
  • ✔ We understand why buyers move into the L3302 — this is a very common step for people who want more PTO horsepower, more mowing capability, and more overall working room than the L2502.
  • ✔ We know where the L3302's value really is — the L3302 gives you the proven Standard L-Series platform, smooth hydrostatic drive, and LA526 loader while stepping up in engine and PTO performance.
  • ✔ We help buyers understand the real difference between the L2502, L3302, and L3902 — sometimes the L3302 is the perfect middle ground, and sometimes a buyer really should move smaller or bigger depending on the land, work, and budget.
  • ✔ We understand real loader expectations — the LA526 is a very useful compact tractor loader, but we also know when a customer's lifting needs are starting to push beyond this loader class and into a larger tractor.
  • ✔ We know which additions make sense and which ones do not — pallet forks, a grapple, third-function hydraulics, rear ballast, tire choices, rotary cutters, tillers and grading tools should be matched to the work you actually intend to do.
  • ✔ You can build the tractor around your property — buying the L3302 tractor and loader by itself gives you the freedom to choose the rear implements and loader attachments that make sense for your land instead of automatically buying equipment you may not need.
  • ✔ We will tell you honestly if the L3302 is the right fit — the goal is not just to sell a tractor. It is to help you buy enough tractor the first time without paying for more machine than your work requires.
  • ✔ Local support still matters after the sale — parts, service, setup help, and real people who know your machine are worth something long after the purchase date.
  • ✔ Delivery within 100 miles and setup matched to your property — we want your L3302 to arrive ready to work, with the tractor, loader, tires, ballast, and attachments matched as closely as possible to how you plan to use it.

L3302 Comparison Guide — Is This The Right Kubota For You?

The L3302 sits in one of the best middle-ground positions Kubota offers — noticeably stronger than the L2502, still manageable in size and price, and often enough tractor for buyers before stepping into the heavier loader class of the L4802.

L3302 vs L2502

Choose the L3302 if you want more horsepower now. The L3302 gives you a meaningful jump in engine and PTO power for heavier mowing, faster tilling, thicker pasture cutting, and tougher overall workloads.

Choose the L2502 if you love simplicity and value. The L2502's 24.8 HP engine keeps it below the 25 HP emissions threshold, making it an extremely attractive choice for buyers who do not need the additional PTO horsepower of the L3302.

Loader buyers need to understand this: stepping from the L2502 to the L3302 is primarily a horsepower upgrade—not a major loader upgrade. Both tractors use the LA526 loader family.

Simple way to decide: If you know you need more PTO horsepower, buy the L3302. If maximum value and simpler ownership matter most, the L2502 is hard to beat.

Compare L2502 Tractor & Loader

L3302 vs L3902

These two tractors are much closer than many buyers expect. The L3302 and L3902 share the same basic Standard L-Series platform and LA526 loader family. The major reason to move into the L3902 is additional engine and PTO horsepower.

Choose the L3902 if you know you will regularly use the extra power. Heavier PTO work, larger mowing jobs, tougher tilling, or simply wanting more reserve horsepower can justify moving up.

Simple way to decide: If the L3302 already has enough PTO horsepower for everything you plan to do, keep the money. If you regularly expect to work near the L3302's limits, the L3902 gives you additional reserve without dramatically changing tractor size.

Compare L3902 Tractor & Loader

L3302 vs L4802

This is a different buying decision. Moving to the L4802 is not simply about getting a few more horsepower. You are moving into a substantially stronger tractor and loader combination for buyers whose work is beginning to outgrow the L3302 class.

Loader capacity is one of the biggest reasons to make the jump. If heavier pallet work, larger material loads, substantial grapple work, or other demanding loader chores are a major part of your plans, the L4802 deserves serious consideration.

Simple way to decide: If your work is primarily mowing, grading, property maintenance and moderate loader work, the L3302 may be all the tractor you need. If loader capability is becoming the deciding factor, look hard at the L4802.

The Ravenscraft Shortcut

L2502: Buy it for simplicity, value, and capable all-around acreage work.

L3302: Buy it when you want the Standard L-Series size but need more PTO horsepower and working reserve than the L2502.

L3902: Buy it when you like the L3302 platform but know you will regularly benefit from additional horsepower.

L4802: Buy it when your decision starts becoming less about horsepower and more about stepping into a substantially stronger tractor and loader class.
