This is one of my favorite rotary cutters to pair with the MX5400 and MX6000. These tractors have the size, weight, and horsepower to take full advantage of a 7-foot cutter while remaining maneuverable enough for pasture work and property maintenance. For M Series tractors, the RCR1884 is an excellent choice for general maintenance, although operators mowing large acreages regularly may want to step into the heavier RCF2784 or a flex-wing cutter.
If you own a Kubota MX4900, MX5400, or MX6000, the RCR1884 is one of the best rotary cutters you can buy. The 7-foot cutting width significantly reduces mowing time compared to a 6-foot cutter, yet it remains lighter and easier to maneuver than a pull-type batwing mower.
This cutter excels at maintaining pastures, waterways, CRP acres, hunting property, road ditches, horse facilities, and large rural acreages.
