Land Pride RB1660 Rear Blade

The Land Pride RB1660 is a heavy-duty rear blade designed for compact tractors that need more capability than the RB05 or RB15 Series. Featuring 3-way adjustment—angle, offset, and tilt—the RB1660 excels at driveway maintenance, grading, ditch shaping, landscaping, backfilling, and snow removal. Its 60-inch working width, heavier frame, and reversible cutting edge make it an excellent year-round attachment for tractors in the 20–40 horsepower range.

Why Buy the RB1660?

If your work goes beyond simply pushing gravel, the RB1660 gives you the flexibility to shape and maintain your property like a professional. The blade angles up to 45° for windrowing gravel or snow, offsets 12 inches left or right to work outside the tractor’s tire path, and tilts 15° to create drainage ditches, crown roads, or cut swales.

The heavy-duty rolled moldboard allows material to flow smoothly, reducing drag while producing a cleaner finished surface.

Buying Advice

The RB1660 is an excellent choice for customers who want the versatility of a professional rear blade without stepping up to the larger RB26 Series. Its 60-inch width is ideal for BX, B, and smaller LX tractors where maneuverability is important, while the additional weight and tilt feature provide significantly better grading performance than lighter-duty rear blades.

For gravel driveways, the tilt adjustment allows you to build a proper crown so water drains away instead of creating potholes. During the winter, reverse the blade to clear snow over gravel without digging in, then switch back to the forward position for more aggressive scraping once the ground freezes.

If you’re running a L3302, L3902, L4701, or L4802, I’d generally recommend stepping up to the RB1672 for full tire coverage when the blade is angled. However, if storage space is limited or you’re working in tighter areas, the RB1660 remains an excellent all-around choice.
