The Land Pride PFL1242 is one of my favorite pallet fork sets for compact Kubota tractors because it strikes an excellent balance between strength and weight. At only 220 pounds, it leaves more of your loader’s lifting capacity available for the load instead of the attachment itself. It’s specifically designed for sub-compact and compact tractors and is Kubota matched for the BX, B, LX, and L Series.
Whether you’re unloading pallets, moving lumber, transporting feed, handling fencing supplies, or lifting logs, the PFL1242 turns your tractor into a highly capable forklift in just seconds with the Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) system.
Unlike clamp-on bucket forks, the PFL1242 keeps the load much closer to the loader pivot pins. That means:
| Specification | PFL1242 |
|---|---|
| Lift Capacity | 1,200 lbs (24″ load center) |
| Fork Length | 42″ |
| Fork Size | 1¼” × 3″ |
| Attachment Weight | 220 lbs |
| Frame Width | 45½” |
| Frame Height | 32″ |
| Hitch | Universal SSQA |
| Fork Class | Class I |
| Fork Adjustment | 5-position spring-loaded locking system |
The PFL1242 is an excellent match for:
For the MX Series and larger tractors, these forks will work, but if you’re regularly handling heavy pallets, large logs, or seed totes, I’d usually recommend stepping up to the PFL20 Series for the additional capacity.
This is one attachment that most owners say they should have bought sooner. Many Kubota owners report using their pallet forks as often—or even more often—than the bucket because they’re so versatile for everyday chores around the farm, acreage, or jobsite.
For smaller tractors like the BX, B, LX, and L2502/L3902, the lightweight 220-pound design is a major advantage. Heavier forks may be stronger on paper, but they reduce the amount of weight your loader can actually lift.
I can also write this in the same sales style we’ve been using for your Ravenscraft product pages if you’re planning to add the PFL1242 to the website.
